Just back from the Mumpreneur Conference

Well, that's me back from the Mumpreneur Conference in Birmingham and I'm exhausted! Thoroughly helpful day, inspirational speakers and great tips from other mums in business working for themselves. I've met some lovely people and made good contacts and I'll definately be putting some of the suggestions into practice so watch this space!

Yet more new products!!

Well - I certainly haven't been resting on my laurels! It's new products galore over at www.bestbabyshower.co.uk. Now it's the turn of the baby bouquets. For the uninitiated, these look like bouquets of real flowers but are instead made from rolled up baby clothing made to look like flower buds, interspersed with foam roses & paper flowers, topped with a paper butterfly, wrapped in tissue paper and nestled within a cute living vase. All bouquets are then wrapped in cellophane & ribbons and an ingredients card. All bouquets come with a free handwritten personalised gift card.

At present just the standard size bouquet pictures are up on the site. Next in line are the large bouquets so watch this space!

At the Mumpreneur Conference this weekend!

Last few days before the inaugural Mumpreneur Conference this Saturday 3rd October 2009. Organised in conjunction with www.mumsclub.co.uk, this one-day conference is for mums who have set up their own businesses, offering support & advice and a chance to network.

Really looking forward to meeting all the other mums who I chat to on the forum and fingers crossed for the mumpreneur awards - entered for two awards and haven't got a chance in hell but there's always hope!!

First blog post!

Hello from www.bestbabyshower.co.uk! It's taken some time to get my head around all the technology around blogging/twitter etc etc and so this is our first 'official' blog post! We have also linked our blog to twitter also so please see us there too - bestbabyshower1.
